Hi, My name is Saffet. I have studied tourism at the University of Samsun and I work as a mountain guide and cultural tours guide more over 10 years. With me you will discover beauty of Eastern Turkey. I organize cultural tours to Van and Akdamar Island, Kars and ruins of ancient Armenian city Ani, tours in Dogubayazit area (Ishak Pasha Palace, Meteor Crater, Noah's Ark Museum, old Armenian village Arzep). During my tours, you will be able to explore a rich history from early Christianity, Islam, Persians, Ottoman Era, modern Turkey and different cultures. You will visit Armenian monasteries, Urartian fortresses, old mosques, museums and lively streets. Last but not least, Eastern Turkey offers really tasty and unique dishes which you will have opportunity to try (fantastic gruyere cheese & roasted goose from Kars, famous breakfasts from Van, abdigor kofte from Dogubayazit). I also organize trekking, hiking and ski tour to mountains of Eastern Turkey. You can explore with me Mount Ararat (the highest peak of Turkey), Mount Artos, Suphan, Kackar mountains and other mountains in the region. I have some fixed programs of my tours but also we can arrange tailor based tours by your needs and time.
