I am Ida. I have been living and travelling around for the past six years - from Australia to Scotland, where I finished my PhD in Mechanical Engineering. During the time I was away I fell in love again with my hometown – Aveiro. That´s what it takes… Aveiro is a coastal lagoon town, nicknamed the Venice of Portugal, owing to its unique network of charming canals and colourful boats once used for seaweed-harvesting but now for short tours. Its traditional charisma ranges from the cobblestoned pavements to seafood and patisserie aromas, but the town is also vibrant and youthful, especially due to the growing and prestigious university campus. The surrounding landscape consists of white sandy beaches and nature reserves. Since my return I have organised several holiday tours for friends and family. This experience turned out to be very successful and satisfying making me consider going one step further… So here I am, providing a tailor-made holiday in the Aveiro region, based on your specific holiday wishes.
