Hi! My name is Andreea. I'm 22 years old. And I'm originally from Romania. I have a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and European Studies and I'm going to get my Master's Degree in Psychology and Human Resources. I currently work as an English teacher. I like to travel and meet new people, gain new experiences, get out of my comfort zone and constantly grow as a person. I love to write and dance, I'm a combination of a fun and melancholic soul. I'm a food lover and I like to try new dishes all the time. My favorite meal is anything involving seafood. I'm a big animal lover. I have a dog which I've rescued a few years ago and since then we've been inseparable. My favorite thing about my city? The people. I have a few favorite spots: Cismigiu Park, the Old Town, Herastrau Park. Those are just my favorite spots, but I like to explore a lot so I know a lot of good places to have fun, eat, drink, chat or just take a walk. During daytime I would start a tour from the most beautiful places Bucharest has to offer, which many don't know about. Apart from the Palace of the Parliament, there are a lot of other amazing places: Theodor Pallady Museum, which is the oldest inhabited house from Bucharest, Carturesti Carousel, which is an amazing library right in the middle of the city, the Virgin Island from IOR Park, the Castle of Vlad Tepes (aka Dracula), Coral Temple and so on. A very interesting place is also Bellu Cemetery, which is more a museum than a cemetery and is full of amazing stories. Depending on which area we're going, we can shop in Unirea Shopping Center, which is near the Old Town and if the weather is good it also has its park in which you can relax after a shopping session; we can shop in MegaMall, which is the biggest mall from Bucharest and have something to eat on its roof afterwards; or maybe in ParkLake which is a mall full of plants. Other beautiful places to eat during the day are Acuarela, Eden Garden and so on. During night time we can eat and see the lights of the city from one of Bucharest's Skybar such as Pura Vida, 18 lounge and so on. Also, we can go in the Old Town, a place full of clubs, pubs and a lot of fun. There is also Beraria H in Herastrau Park, which holds different concerts very often and is also a good and cool place to socialize and have a good time. For me, Bucharest is a place filled with energy, especially during the night. People always like to have a good time and as crazy as the city can get, as beautiful it is. I would like to share with guests what I know about this city and show them how beautiful it is, while also listening about their countries. A true exchange of experience. Also, it's a great way to meet new people and make new friends :).
