My name is Ruth and I'm a happy, free-spirited 24 year old who originates from the beautiful nation of Nigeria! I recently earned my MD at Kharkov National University and plan to pursue an MBA come fall, 2018. I work as a travel writer at Arrivedo, an online company based in Lima, Peru, where I collaborate with hotels around the world to help them create their very own local neighbourhood guide to assist guests in nicely settling into their new environment. My job is my hobby. I've lived in the city of Kharkov for the past 6 years and I consider myself a bona fide Kharkovchanka :) There's a lot to do here during the daytime. During the day, I personally recommend taking a walk through the aesthetic park Schevchenko, biking through the streets of the city's centre, going shopping in the Karavan mall or watching a theatrical production at Kharkov's Opera Theatre. The night scene in Kharkov is just as diverse and lit as it's daytime. From watching movies at Cinemas located throughout the city to going dancing at Micmo club/hotel/lounge. The possibilities of having a great time here are endless. During the past 8 years I've lived in 5 cities in 4 different countries, and I consider myself a well-learned normad! As a normad, I know the struggles of leaving the comfort of your home and family to a completely different country. I know what it means to travel to a country where you are a 100% clueless of their language. And I know how the kindness of some random stranger can truly be an answer to prayer. This is one of the reasons I'd love to be a local host. I'm super chill, very friendly, honest, patient, fluent in English and Russian and very welcoming we're going have a great time together! I can't wait to see you!
