Welcome to my profile! My name is Marian, I’m staying here in Malaysia for 3 years already. I’ve roamed around KL and discover a lot of good places to visit and foods that everyone must try. I can speak in english fluently and I’m native in Tagalog. I know some Malay words and have been familiar with getting around KL and some other cities. I actually guided a lot of Filipino friends who visited Malaysia for the past 3 years.
Here are the list of places you need to visit and see & foods that you definitely need to try: Places: 1.) Batu Caves 2.) Genting Highlands 3.) Colmar Tropicale 4.) The Famous Petronas Twin Tower 5.) KL Tower and so on.. (Depends on your length of stay) Foods: If you’re up for Halal Foods, 1.) Satay (Chicken,Beef,Lamb) with peanut sauce 2.) Nyonya Laksa (a must-try) 3.) Nasi Lemak 4.) Kampung fried rice (my favorite) If you’re craving for asian food with like pork in it: Chinese foods, there’s a lot. I personally love “Pan mee soup”. You’ll see Thai food too, there’s a lot here in KL especially in “Jalan Alor Bukit Bintang”. If you every try to visit Jalan alor, you might not want to miss “Mongolian BBQ” that’s the name of the food store. Their chicken wings bbq, fried mushroom, fried tofu and tom yum are the best. There’s a lot that this city has to offer.
For nightlife tours you can check “Changkat” street where the bars are located. Right up there is the Bukit Bintang street, which is very like a “street that never sleeps”. You can find “Live” performance like singing on the streets and a lot more.
