ARCHAEOLOGIST - HISTORIAN I am a 23 years old Hungarian guy from Szeged. I moved to Budapest 5 years ago, because of my college studies. I'm studying archaeology and history at the University of ELTE. I am really interested in Hungarian Architecture as well, also I have a huge knowledge in the history of Budapest from the Roman period until today. After I finish my studies I want to be a professional tourist guide. I also like to collect antique items from antique shops. My taste in food is really hungarian, I like "rántotthús" and "gulyás" of course. I know nice restaurants in any type of food. You want a burger? I know the best place! You want a greek gyros? I know the best place! You want some lángos maybe? I know the best place! If I could show you the city, I would show the Castle district firstly. It has lot of secrects, and special and really interesting elements which are not shown in tourist books. I had to study about the excavations in the Castle district also, and It has a really interesting vibe and story. All the carvings in the walls are from the medieval times. The second thing I would show it would be probably Pest "dark-side". The city itself has a lot of interesting houses, with many hidden and forgotten secrets. Some houses in the Király utca were brothels, and even the English crownprince has turned up there in the 19th century! During the night-time I would show people the city from the Gellert hill maybe chill with wine there. It has the most beautiful view, even better than from the Castle hill. But I am also a "party-animal" type of guy, so pubbing and clubbing is always on the list during nights. :) If you have any other questions don't forget to contact me!
