You might know that Pest and Buda are completely two different cities. Well, both cities were inhabitated during the medieval ages, but sadly there is not too much things to see in Pest from the medieval times.
In this tour I'm going to talk a little bit about the medieval Buda, which became the capital of Kingdom of Hungary in the 14th century, also about the ethnical diversity of the medieval Buda and it's architectural heritage.
Usually I start the history from the Romans and talk until present days. The more focused time period is the 13th to 18th century.
You are going to see lot of medieval houses in the district, as I explain every single part of the building in details.
The tour is absolutely interactive, as I talk about the buildings, and history, I will show you photos of the excavations, reconstruction drawings, maps and contemporary drawings and illustrations.
The walk is going to take approximately 1-2 hours
