These terms (“Local Terms”) govern your use of the LocalExperience.co platform (“Platform”) as a local guide or host (“Local”).
By registering as a Local and offering Experiences, you agree to these Local Terms in addition to the General Terms and Conditions.
LocalExperience operates solely as a marketplace intermediary and does not employ, contract, or represent Locals as agents or tour operators.
You provide your services independently and bear full responsibility for their quality, legality, and execution.
As a Local, you must:
Provide complete and accurate information;
Ensure your profile, descriptions, and pricing are truthful and current;
Upload only authentic and lawful materials;
Maintain any required municipal or professional licenses if applicable under Turkish law.
Locals are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining any required municipal or professional licenses.
LocalExperience does not verify or guarantee such qualifications or licenses.
All bookings and communications must be made exclusively through the Platform.
Off-platform transactions, payments, or communications with Travelers are strictly prohibited.
Repeated cancellations, late responses, or failure to appear for confirmed bookings may result in account suspension or permanent removal.
Payments for confirmed Experiences are processed via authorized payment partners.
After successful completion of an Experience, LocalExperience transfers the payment to your registered bank account within the standard payout window.
A service commission is deducted from each transaction to cover platform technology, marketing, and operational costs.
LocalExperience issues an invoice for its commission.
You are responsible for issuing an official service invoice to the Traveler for your share.
You are solely responsible for determining, declaring, and paying all applicable taxes arising from your income through the Platform, including VAT and income taxes.
LocalExperience does not withhold or remit any taxes on your behalf.
Cancellations are governed by the Local (Guide) Cancellation Policy available on the Platform.
You are expected to honor all confirmed bookings and avoid unnecessary cancellations.
If unavoidable, you should attempt to reschedule the Experience or transfer it to another qualified Local (if available and permitted).
Repeated or last-minute cancellations may lead to reduced visibility, suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform.
As a Local, you agree to:
Treat all Travelers respectfully and ensure their safety;
Not consume alcohol or illegal substances during Experiences;
Avoid harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate contact;
Comply with safety and ethical standards published by LocalExperience.
Locals shall ensure Experiences are conducted safely, in compliance with applicable laws, and that Travelers are informed of any potential risks.
Violation of these obligations may result in immediate termination without prior notice.
All communications, bookings, and payments must occur exclusively through the Platform. Any attempt to bypass the Platform (e.g., by sharing contact details or accepting cash payments) is considered a material breach and may lead to permanent removal.
LocalExperience monitors Local performance metrics (response time, cancellation rate, Traveler feedback).
Maintaining high-quality standards and professionalism is essential to remain active on the Platform.

You grant LocalExperience a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your uploaded materials (text, photos, videos) for promotional and operational purposes.
You retain full ownership of your content.
LocalExperience may suspend or terminate your account in case of:
Violation of these Terms or the General Terms,
Repeated cancellations or misconduct, or
Fraudulent or unsafe behavior.
Termination may result in removal of your listings and cancellation of pending bookings.
These Local Terms are governed by Turkish Law, including Law No. 6502 and Law No. 6563.
All disputes shall be submitted to the Istanbul Central (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices.
