Hi, my name is Gaia and I'm 20. I'm currently a student at the faculty of Architecture. For this reason I really appreciate architecture, sculpture and art in any form. I believe my town, Bergamo, has a lot to give to its visitors, so I would be honoured to help you explore this little and marvelous part of Italy. I believe the best way to explore a new place is to get lost in it and to walk around it without any rigid plan. For this reason I would take you to Cittá Alta, the old core of the town located on the top of a hill and encircled by massive Venetian defensive walls that are a UNESCO world heritage Site. Then I would let you decide where to go since the area is full of monuments, historical buildings and stunning places that I would illustrate to you. Then I would take you to "Cittá Bassa", the area of the town that surrounds the hill, to go shopping in some of the most stylish stores in northern Italy. During the nighttime I would suggest you to have an "Aperitivo" in one of the most fashionable bars in the city centre. A good dinner in a local restaurant in città alta would be the best way to conclude the day.
