I'm Evelyn Becerra. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm 21 years old and I have a Bachelor Degree in Tourism & Tour Guiding. Next year I'll start a Bachelor Degree of Hospitality. I live in Olivos, just half an hour from the capital. I'm always looking for something interesting to do in the city. The activities I most enjoy doing is visiting museums, going to cultural centres where photography, art or music exhibitions are taking place, going to nightclubs with my friends, going for a walk around the park or attend a guided tour of a place or building of my city that has caught my attention. My main hobby is playing the piano. Also, singing. In addittion, I enjoy wandering around the city and meet new people, especially if they are tourists. Sometimes I end up talking to them for hours in order to get to know more about them, what they like most about Buenos Aires and Argentina and recommend what to do. I can't go on without mentioning another of my passions, cinema. I spend hours watching films and series, reading books about the topic. I'm considering taking a filmaking course in the future. At the moment, I only take pictures. I have an analog camera which I use to portray my friends and the places and events I go to. I'm a food lover so I go to many restaurants as I can to try different type of foods. If I had to pick my favourite food it would be pasta. Buenos Aires is a very exhuberant and vibrant city. My favorite places are Recoleta cultural center and Botanical garden of Buenos Aires and my favorite part Recoleta. During daytime, I would star a tour from the famous Plaza de Mayo and Casa Rosada, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Cabildo. After I would bring the tourists to San Telmo and La Boca, the old part of Buenos Aires where I'll explain about the history of the foundation of Buenos Aires, the arrival of inmigrants and their ways of living, the traditional and the spanish-italian inspired architecture of the houses. Then, Retiro. I will show them Retiro central station, Monumental Tower, Plaza San Martin and famous palaces in the area. And in the last place, we will visit Recoleta and Puerto Madero. In Recoleta, we'll go to the Recoleta Cementery, Ateneo Bookstore, MALBA Museum, Museo de Bellas Artes and Centro Cultural Recoleta and famous buildings and palaces, whereas in Puerto Madero, I'll explain the history of the port. During nightime, it would be great for them to show them the lights of colours of Avenida Corrientes. Famous for its theatres, cinemas, restaurants, bookstores and the Obelisco, it's a must-do! And to go to a Tango Show and enjoy some Malbec and Asado. After we would go to Palermo, the perfect place to try a craft beer and see a music show or go to a party (this area has a lot of nightclubs).
