Hi, hola, bonjour! :D My name Bertha, I'm 23 years old and I’m originally from Cartago, Costa Rica, currently living in Paris for an internship in data mining and analytics on a sociology research lab. Cool, right? My native language is Spanish, I can speak good English and I'm taking French courses at the Alliance française. I love to walk and discover hidden magical places in Paris (preferably with not too many tourists) I like to learn about the history and architectural feats in all the buildings so I am used to paying a lot of attention in all these places, as in Paris there are a lot of hidden details worth knowing. I like knowing the stories behind them. Paris is a really old city that has endured and survived many wars, conflicts, and historical events, therefore, you can find all types of museums, ruins, catacombs, and graves of famous characters of all kinds: fro, renowned scientists, to artists to huge political actors. At the same time, there are huge events every day for all kinds of tastes and preferences (and some of them are even free) and now that wintertime is getting closer, we're on the best period to feel the spirit of Christmas in some of the most famous venues in Paris. I love food so if you are interested in trying escargots, foie gras, crepes, raclette, huitres, moules Frites, galettes, and good wine, I'm a good guide. Let's go get the best real French food in Paris! :) I really love shopping, especially vintage clothes and as Paris is the best place for shopping, it doesn't fall short on this aspect. It is really a fashion city.
